Our school is located in a rural area in Dolj County.
Giubega is a small pitoresque commune situated in the south-west of Romania with a population of about 2,500 inhabitants.
Even though it is a little tiny village, Giubega has got kind, lovely people who respect Romanian customs and are very welcoming.
Our school comprises two levels of education - primary and secondary – and has 160 students aged between 6 and 14 years old.
Between year 1 and 4 students have got one main teacher (“învățător”) who teaches them most of the subjects except for Religion, PE, ICT and foreign languages – English or French.
Starting with the 5th grade, students have got different teachers for each subject: Romanian, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Religion, Music, Arts, ICT, PE, Social Education, English, French.
